The festivities began with “Wild Wild Bolu,” a Western-inspired welcome party deep in the forest. Bespoke details like custom ponchos, embroidered hats, and artisan-built stages set a vibrant and unforgettable tone.

Rain reshaped plans on the wedding day, moving the ceremony into an elegantly adorned tent. Deniz’s gown, a masterpiece of upcycled artistry, and Can’s Bavarian-inspired jacket reflected their histories and refined sensibilities. Their vows, exchanged under the glow of candlelight, felt intimate and deeply meaningful.

The following day, I returned to the mountain house to capture portraits reflecting Deniz and Can’s bond. Dressed once more in their wedding attire, they were photographed against the serene lake and lush grounds, creating imagery as timeless as the mountains themselves.
